Micrologic is seeking a qualified Shipping and Receiving Specialist to add to our team of dedicated, trusted, experienced & professional personnel.
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist will be an integral part of the Warehouse team.
Essential Job Functions Include:
Traveling between locations using company vehicles to accomplish daily goals and tasks.
Properly transferring inventory items between locations and reporting the transfer history to the inventory department.
Assuring no items or equipment are damaged when being transported.
Collaborate with the Production department in order to replenish their inventory needs and complete site moves prior to shipping.
Collaborate with the Inventory department to transfer overstock to warehouse locations.
Assist with the shipping of freight for customer sites and trade shows.
Acquire certification through the company for safe forklift operation in order to move pallets during daily duties.
Properly operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment for the department's daily operations, reporting maintenance issues as they arise.
Skills and Knowledge:
DOT certified a plus! Bilingual ( Spanish & English speaking a big plus! ) High school diploma or GED certificate Warehouse experience Forklift operator's license (preferred) Organizational skills Physical stamina and strength Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Benefits are available after 90 days of employment.
